This makes me proud of having such a fantastic sport to admire,follow and support,whose top athletes rise up to serve a humanitarian need when it arises.Just reading the numbers makes me swell;

TENNIS:how I 😘 you!

😘For as long as I can remember,I have been passionate about this sport!!! There is of course the watching and keeping up-to-date with the results and rankings et.al.(up-to-date?It verged on mania,but I am not shy of it),but I was passionate about playing it,which I did with a craze in U.S.,and hope to play again!I can claim very proudly I have travelled to New York for the U.S. Open Championships[in 2011,won by Djokovic and Stosur among the adults],and hope to again some day.

I will in a matter of seconds run out of words to describe the various sights and sensations that inspire me on by this sport!

It has been obvious to me for long that a racquet sport has brought out the best in me(I claim,again,without ratification,badminton and table tennis,both of which are very dear to me),hence the effects of this unique sport, both physical and mental,have driven me onward!

Federer vs.Dominic Thiem in 2019

I am fast becoming a Thiem-diehard fan,after watching him upend Roger Federer in the Indian Wells 2019 final (so on hard) and am watching Roger playing Dominic at Madrid on clay that year,which after 2 sets (a tiebreak included!!,running to 13-11 and won by Dominic!!!),I learnt,courtesy Google,he won,only at the QF stage (sad he couldn't do it in the most befitting way possible,which would be a Masters 1000 final!!!,but any tournament has many more than 2 players after all).


Finally,Thiem's current H2H against Roger is 5-2!!!





Watching the Madrid match,his shot selection and gameplay are so outstanding I have to think he is in the running for a Slam very soon,maybe RG??





***The detailed H2H shows me their H2H is tied at 1-1 at the APT world finals,having met at the last 2!!!Tells me this rivalry has a lot of hidden gems for me to unearth !!
