In Ubuntu(ever since I can remember),the Software Center has been the go-to GUI for installation of the most useful apps,along with the terminal(where you enter pre-defined commands to install apps,update,upgrade etc.etc.[read more here:https://askubuntu.com/questions/94102/what-is-the-difference-between-apt-get-update-and-upgrade].
Today,I opened Software Center for my usual check,BUT ALSO ran a list of commands that has served me well in the past,for updates-cum-upgrades.They didn't fail,although the center warned about apt being active[https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/serverguide/apt.html]!ππ
Conclusion:do I drive hard enough or not?The jury is out on that.
