I felt compelled to create a post based on what Amma was talking to me about in the evening, about the various hardships she helped us overcome when she lived alone with Mohan and me in Chennai[Mohan completed his schooling then,so class IX-XII] and when she came to US and lived with me[I experienced a case of TBI ,more vociferously detailed in the remainder of this blog[memories of it are always open to being reviewed] and her Dropbox blog when she was then in US. 😉
Should I excuse myself for the shoddy adherence to time[lack of correct correlation of events in history to the time they occurred] or not?I hope I'll shed the veneer of abysmal time-correlation over time.
This is a blog,so I get to describe in as much detail as I please. What do TIT and TAT stand for?
I made up TAT as the mountain Amma helped surmount[Mohan Typhoid and Appendicitis,me a case of TBI],and TIT as Thiruppugazh In Totality.
Hence,Amma helped her sons scale the peaks that loomed at different points in their lives, and she,of course, was fueled by the energy of Thiruppugazh, which she has spent years learning the essence of,as a dedicated shishya.
But then, using this phrase tit for tat,in this context, would fail me in any advanced exam in English, except if I note that tit and tat are two sides of a coin and what Amma faced were 2 faces of a mountain, not a mere coin.
God,Oh all-knowing force,do what is just and give Amma her richly deserved reward! Please.
Kumar.
